Site Evaluation
Geo-Cleanse International, Inc. (GCI) is a remediation company
specializing in chemical
oxidation. GCI does not contract
for site delineation activities performed by traditional
environmental consulting firms. Typically, GCI enters the
remediation process once the site has been delineated and
remedial alternatives are being explored.
In order for GCI to provide an initial estimate, the client or consultant is
first required to fill out a site summary form on the left, or (or download as pdf document).
In addition, GCI requires (at a minimum) the following:
 |
Site map showing
target areas |
 |
Representative soil boring
logs or soil cross-sections |
 |
Soil and groundwater analytical
data |
 |
Site history |
With this information, our experienced staff of geologists, chemists and engineers
will examine the geochemical, hydrogeological, and contaminant characterization
data to select the appropriate oxidant and assess the required volume of that
oxidant. The initial estimate is then calculated based upon the time required
to inject the necessary volume of reagents into the subsurface.
This initial estimate provides the client with an overview of how the Geo-Cleanse®
Process might be implemented and the projected cost for the treatment. If the
client approves of the initial estimate and wishes to obtain a formal proposal,
GCI will request all site delineation information including but not limited to
historical data, soil boring logs, pump tests, and analytical history. GCI will
then analyze the complete delineation package and issue a formal proposal based
upon the requested scope of work.
