Health and Saftey

GCI is proud of its spotless safety record.  All injection programs are conducted in accordance with applicable OSHA safety standards and according to a site specific Health and Safety Plan prepared by GCI.  All personnel involved in site injection programs have 40-hour OSHA training and a Health and Safety officer is assigned to each project.

TREATMENT VEHICLE SAFETY FEATURES
All of GCI’s injection equipment is designed and maintained with the highest level of safety in mind.  Each injection vehicle is equipped with the following:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Safety shower and eyewash station
  • First-Aid Kit
  • Fire Extinguisher
  • Multiple valves and check valves so the flow of reagents can be regulated at the control board, injector head or at the injection pumps.
  • In addition, all of the equipment on GCI’s injection vehicles are pressure and leak tested after they are built and prior to any treatment program.
